You've come a long way, baby

HELLO??!??!?!

Anybody out there?

Yeah, I haven't updated in a year, but that doesn't mean I haven't thought about it.

It seems that the last posting directly corresponds to, let's see, what has the kid been doing for a year? Walking.

While we have him in the chair - I think we could all use MORE COWBELL.

His speed is three steps in front of momma and closer to danger than a momma could hope for. I often glance at the computer longing for the days where a blanket and a ceiling fan were entertainment and the little bean could easily fit into my lap. The chunky rolls of baby have turned into legs and the cheeks are there, but are now being shaped by the swollen gums of new teeth.

He is always helpful in the kitchen.

Talking is the next best big thing and it is amazing how much he can say. He actually said Weimaraner the other day. He says yel-doh for yellow and it sounds like he's cursing at us until we realize that, in fact, we are driving under or on a bridge. He points out construction equipment and has his own order for numbers. The answer to how many is always two. He sings row row row row row row (never the boat) and ba ba. The wipers on the bus go swish swish and [we] all fall down.
